Social Media Posting for Indie Authors, Musicians, and Artists
Hey everyone! Here at The Digital Fair we've been working on some pretty cool stuff. We've been working with authors, artists, musicians, and other creatives out there to better understand what features would make the website experience easier to manage. After all, you've got enough time tied up in your craft - Why would you want to spend more of it figuring out how to manage a website?
One of these features is our new automated social media posting service. Effective immediately, users who have a website using The Digital Fair Content Management System will be able to automatically post to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Discord, BlueSky, or LinkedIn.
How it works
Website owners are able to create different content types to post on their site. These include Blog Posts, Books, Series, Events, Artwork or Projects currently, with several new content types coming soon and custom types available for your project by request.
Once that content has been written and you've used our preview feature to make sure it's ready for the public, it's a quick button click to publish and get your content live!
But clicking that button also triggers a new workflow: Social Media Posts! After your Digital Fair account has been set up with a Late account and your socials have been connected, publishing new content will give you a brand new option.
From here, you can indicate which platform you want to post to and write a caption (along with hashtags and anything else you would include with your social media post). The system will automatically include the title of the post and a link to your website.
And that's it! You fed two birds with one scone (we don't kill birds around here) - you got your blog updated on your website and automatically let your social media fans know about it!
